Paris
Post Exhibit Time in Paris!
Well our post exhibit time in Paris was wonderful! After a couple days of receptions for the Art Deco Exhibit at Cite de l’architecture et du patrimione we decided to enjoy Paris! It only rained a couple times but the weather was warm so we walked everywhere!
Our First Week in Paris
Our first week in Paris and so much has already happened! I will let Jenn fill you in on all the details at a later date but here are the quick highlights and some photos along the way.
We Are In Paris!
Yes we are in Paris! It’s beautiful although a bit cloudy here! Weather for the week is calling for some showers but in the high 50’s. We are excited to be here no matter what the weather! We left Saturday afternoon and landed on Sunday morning! (Love that international timeline!)
News On A Personal Note…
News on a personal note…I am excited because this week, my PET Scan results came back negative, so still cancer free! I am especially excited because this was the first PET Scan that didn’t show any signs of cancer at all. The last scan I took did, whereupon I had to undergo a follow up…
Returning To Paris!
I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the notion that we will be returning to Paris only a short two months from now. Back in February, when we were invited to display my father’s work at Cite de l’architecture & du patrimione in October, it seemed so far away.
Lost Horizons: Art Deco Architecture of Singapore
We will be participating in an exhibit in Singapore! And since Gayook lived in Singapore for over 6 months, this exhibit is doubly exciting for her. It gives her a chance to share her father’s work with her Singaporean friends and family.
LIFE AFTER CANCER…
“Life After Cancer” is in response to Jenn’s earlier “One Year Cancer Free!” First, a big thank you to my daughter for her care and for giving me the gift of my father. As if that weren’t enough, and to be alive, for my 70th birthday gift, I was given a cruise to Alaska!
Exciting News!
We have exciting news! This past week, our friend Jeff Cody returned from Paris where he picked up our first purchase of Liu’s work. We find it fitting because about a year and a half ago we met Jeff at the Getty Institute, Los Angeles.
