We Are In Paris!

Yes we are in Paris! It’s beautiful although a bit cloudy here! Weather for the week is calling for some showers but in the high 50’s. We are excited to be here no matter what the weather! We left Saturday afternoon and landed on Sunday morning! (Love that international timeline!)

One of our friends who we met at the Architectural Exchange Conference in Paris is leaving for Hong Kong to continue her studies and she has been kind enough to let us stay at her place while she’s gone.We are incredibly grateful for her generosity and are even happier to learn that we will be able to see her before she goes!

We’re just getting our bearings straight and preparing for the next few days of meetings and a couple of exhibit receptions. We are meeting with a curator from the Guimet Museum and doing an interview with Radio France.  We are excited to see what else will happen on our trip and who we will meet along the way! And of course there’s the Art Deco Exhibit! (I will post photos of it on our website if they allow me to take pictures.)

I promise a full report when we return and will attempt to write a quick update next week while we’re still in Paris!
