In Loving Memory – Gayook Wong (1943-2021)

With deepest sadness…My mother, Gayook Wong, eldest daughter of Liu Jipiao, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

She died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones after battling cancer (GIST) for over 10 years. In the end, the cancer was too aggressive for the medications out there. But she was lucid and still talking about the book she was writing the night before. She made the most of her last 10 years by traveling and living in France, Costa Rica, Mexico, Vancouver and the East Coast.

Presenting at the World Congress on Art Deco in Shanghai!

Our family has been invited to present at the first World Congress on Art Deco to be held in Asia this November! Historic Shanghai will be hosting the event.
